THE Wonkook Lee Snail reader is a tiny technological gadget that has the potential to revolutionalise reading for the visually impaired.

It is a small rolling wheel device pressure-activated to read braille. The rolling wheel has a pressure-sensitive surface that is triggerd ny the shape of braille bumps, which then triggers the Snail's speaker to voice the text to reader. The reader has the option of listening to the text out loud or in private through their Bluetooth headset. There is also a recording button on the side of the Snail allowing readers to record and listen to their text at a later time. Reading braille without the Wonkook Lee Snail is much less efficient.
