Congratulations!
I am very much honoured to inform you that Mr. Yi Veasna,
a participant from Cambodia for Vocational Rehabilitation Course 1999
received the Kazou Itoga Memorial Foundation Price this November.
Let me offer him my congratulations and best wishes on this happy occasion.
*Outline of the Annual Kazuo Itoga Memorial Prize
Carrying on the philosophy of the late Mr. Kazuo Itoga, who continuously
devoted himself to improving the welfare of the disabled, and promoting
respect for the human rights of the disabled, the Kazuo Itoga Memorial Prize
was established with the aim of realizing an integrated society that ensures
the well-being of the disabled and their families. With this view, the Prize
is awarded to those people who have contributed outstanding services
toward the promotion of welfare for the disabled.
