Have you ever seen this symbol in your country?

This is the International Symbol of Access, a universal sign to mark
buildings and facilities that are accessible to persons with
disabilities, was adopted in 1969 by Rehabilitation International (RI)
for the purpose of building barrier-free environments. Japan Society for
Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (JSRPD) is authorized with
the control of the use of this symbol in Japan and committed to
promoting its wider and proper recognition.

I would like you to introduce us YOUR SYMBOL OF ACCESS.

Dear Keiko San,

we use the same symbol in Chile. it is used not only to mark an accessible building, it is also used to mark a preference location for a PwD to use in trains and buses. we commonly use this symbol to identify disability.

Dear Keiko san, regretably, there isn't a short description of this symbol, but guessing, you may are talking about a draw of a man in a wheelchair? if it is, yes Peru is using this symbol but not after a convention sometimes

Carlos san, thank you for your comment.
And Esperanza san, "Yes!" a symbol of "Access" is a person in the wheelchair. In your comment you mentioned Peru is not using it after the convention. What do you mean by that? It means you are not using this symbol now? Please let me know about it.
I am going to report you how we use this symbol in Japan next week.

oh! Keiko san, didn't finished idea because a problem that my internet provider had, it disconnected suddenly!, I meant, it is not used as a regular symbol, for example special ed school don't have any symbol, only the rehabilitation center for people with locomotion disabilities have this symbol in the facility, but most organizations of peruvian pwd movement, use this, in their websites or on official sheets of paper, some local government draw this to indicate parking for pwd. here there is not a convention, everybody guesses that this is the symbol, but the population were not oureach with this! best regards and congratulations Keiko san, you are doing a fantastic work! go on! greetings and my best memories for Wayama san.
