The Survey of Access to information and communication for persons with disabilities, including communication and assistive technologies in the Asian and Pacific region. This questionnaire was formulated by the Task Force on Information Communication Technology under the Thematic Working Group on Disability-related Concerns (TWG-DC), a UNESCAP -organized working group mechanism to promote and monitor the implementation of BMF. The purpose of the questionnaire is to  supplement information to the responses to the UNESCAP 2004 BMF review  questionnaire, in order to further assess the implementation of the BMF targets in the priority area on information and communication. Analyses of data obtained from the responses of the questionnaire will be utilized towards the UNESCAP -organized high-level intergovernmental meeting on mid-point review of the BMF in 2007. This questionnaire is addressed to Governments, international organizations and NGOs of Members States (53) and Associate Members (9) of ESCAP in Asia and Pacific region.
